Teacher’s Education: Continuing Professional Development of Teachers

MID-YEAR IN-SERVICE TRAINING

The Department Heads and the teaching staff of Bagong Barrio National High School together with their School Head, Mr. Ferazim R. Dannug, organized an interactive 3-day In-Service Training and Team Building Activities with the theme: “Teacher’s Education: Continuing Professional Development of Teachers”, held last May 30 to June 01, 2018 at Villa Kitane Resort, Calamba, Laguna.

OPENING PROGRAM

The program started with the singing of the national anthem conducted by Ms. Bernadette D. Ador, MAPEH Teacher, followed by a prayer led by Mrs. Ma. Annalyn Nagayo-Cui, ESP Teacher. Tailing next was the presentation of participants and the house rules and regulations with Mr. Garry D. Enriquez, Science Teacher, and Mrs. Marilyn G. Paronable, English Teacher, as the focal persons.

Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Emelando R. Arevalo, formally opened the said program by giving his Opening Remarks. Dr. Arevalo gave emphasis on the importance of camaraderie among others to have a better working environment and relationship.

WELCOMING THE NEW SCHOOL PRINCIPAL – An Hour with the Principal

After which, BBNHS teaching force formally welcomed Mr. Ferazim R. Dannug, as the new school principal, as he delivered his words of inspiration. He also mentioned the new policies and changes to follow for the entire academic year of 2018-2019. Some of the policies he mentioned were as follows: schedule of classes, directives to all teaching and non-teaching staff, inclusive education, and teachers/students’ development.
